After years of working across different medical specialties, I wanted to bring something back to healthcare that I felt was being lost: genuine connection.

Inspired by my upbringing in India, where the connection between mind, body, nutrition, and well-being was part of everyday life, I envisioned a practice that combines modern medicine, advanced aesthetics, and whole-person wellness.

I didn’t create Aesthetics Plus MD to change the entire world of medicine. I created it to change the experience of medicine for every person I have the privilege of caring for.

Dr. Ritu Shah is a physician and founder of Aesthetics Plus MD, bringing a unique combination of clinical expertise, advanced procedural training, and a passion for whole-person wellness.
​
With a diverse medical background spanning general surgery and trauma, interventional radiology, and internal medicine, Dr. Shah brings a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy, complex medical conditions, procedural medicine, and patient safety to every aspect of her practice.
​
Her extensive training and certifications in medical aesthetics allow her to combine advanced aesthetic technologies, injectable treatments, and regenerative approaches with the clinical judgment and precision of a physician.
​
What truly distinguishes Dr. Shah’s approach is her belief that exceptional aesthetic results begin with understanding the person, not just treating the concern.

Cymbeline “CeeCee” Velazquez, RN
Registered Nurse & Licensed Aesthetician
Cymbeline “CeeCee” Velazquez’s interest in aesthetics began in Queens, New York, where she watched her aunt Angie and sister Christine perform laser hair removal. Those early experiences sparked a curiosity about skin and aesthetic care that inspired her own career.
​
CeeCee graduated from Beauty and Health Institute in 2020. That same year, she also became a brow artist through separate training in microblading and permanent makeup. As her passion for skin health and helping others deepened, she wanted to better understand the science behind the skin and expand the care she could provide. That desire to grow beyond the boundaries of her aesthetician role motivated her to pursue nursing.
​
She earned her Associate of Science in Nursing from Hillsborough Community College and is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. As a registered nurse at Aesthetics Plus MD, she continues to build her knowledge with the long-term goal of becoming a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner.
​
CeeCee believes that balancing beauty from the inside out begins with understanding what makes each person feel like themselves. Her own experiences receiving aesthetic services shaped her appreciation for thoughtful care, professional standards, and attention to detail.
​
Her approach combines an eye for detail with the compassion and attentiveness she brings to nursing. She takes time to understand what matters to each patient, explain their options, and provide care that respects their individuality. Her goal is for patients to leave feeling comfortable in their skin, confident in their choices, and cared for as a person.

Outside of work and school, CeeCee enjoys traveling, the beach, and spending time with her husband and their two young children.

I was super sick and couldn’t make it to the clinic. Vomiting, dizzy, body aches, fever… the works. Dr Shah sent over the IV home service and I was able to get my IV while laying on the couch, fighting off this monster flu. I am so grateful for the service, it made me feel so much better and stopped the persistent nausea I had. She also called to check in on me later and made sure I was okay.
